💦WARMING MAINTENANCE TIP: If the water heater is stored in a cold environment, the heat exchanger or water valve may freeze, so it must be drained properly. To drain properly, open the drain valve on the lower right side of the water heater. Turn it counterclockwise to do so. Disconnect all incoming and outgoing water lines to ensure that the water heater drains properly. Completely disconnect gas, inlet and outlet pipes when not in use. Store in a warm place. Product damage to the water heater due to freezing will not be covered under warranty.
